Sometimes you don't need someone to tell you what to do.

You need somewhere to think.

CONSIDERED offers thoughtful, confidential conversations for people who want to understand themselves better, gain perspective and consider what comes next.

Your life can be working.

And still deserve some thought.

From the outside, life can look perfectly fine.

A career. Relationships. Responsibilities. A life you've worked hard to build.

And yet you can still find yourself wondering why something doesn't feel quite right. Why the same patterns keep appearing. Why a relationship leaves you frustrated. Why a decision feels so difficult. Or why the life that makes sense on paper doesn't quite feel like the life you want to be living.

You don't need to be in crisis to want to understand yourself better.

Sometimes it's worth stopping long enough to pay attention.

A different kind of conversation

Friends, family and colleagues can be invaluable. But they're also part of your life. They know you, have opinions about what you should do and are affected by the choices you make.

Counselling offers something different.

A confidential conversation with someone outside your circle — a space where you can think aloud, question your assumptions, notice patterns and explore things you may not have had the space to consider before.

Not advice about how you should live your life.

A better understanding of yourself, so you can decide.

What might bring you here

You might be considering a change in your life or relationship.

You might recognise a pattern that keeps repeating.

You might have achieved many of the things you thought you wanted and be questioning what comes next.

Or perhaps nothing is obviously wrong. You simply have a sense that something deserves more thought.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about.

That's something we can work out together.

There isn’t one way to do this.

Counselling doesn’t having to mean committing to months of weekly appointments. Different things need different amounts of time and attention.

A single conversation - when there’s something specific you want to think through, gain perspective on or makes sense of.

Counseling over time - a number of conversations when something needs more attention, whether that’s a relationship, a period of change, a recurring pattern or something you’re trying to understand about yourself.

Considered Series- a more structured series of conversations designed around particular life stages, transitions and experiences.

Who you’ll be talking with.

I’m Victoria, a qualified counsellor with a longstanding professional background in working with people, development and change.

My approach is thoughtful, curious and collaborative. I don’t assume I’m the expert of your life, and counseling with me isn’t about being given a prescribed set of answers.

It’s about having enough space to think, notice and understand - including the things that can be difficult to see when you’re in the middle of your own life. Read more about Victoria.
